LOL! Okay. Because paying attention to small details has never caused anyone to lose sight of the big picture. I've been a pilot for many years with many hours under my belt.
Thanks, but I've been doing pretty well with my employer along with any of my past ones. Thanks for your concern over my future, but I think I'm okay.

As someone who knew the difference between their, there, and they're since some point in grade school, it does make me cringe, however.

Someone that was just in the recent recurrent ground school told me that BF was there to talk to them. Someone asked about the Q3 rumors. He told them that we should start noticing the pieces coming together.

Can we please move the F on from the grammar BS already? Honestly. This is so stupid it's not even funny.
This is an Internet forum. I use this, a lot of times, during commutes or between flights I.e in a hurry. I type fast and am on a smartphone almost exclusively. I absolutely gauruntee you I have had errors before. Who cares. Honestly.
For Billho or anyone else that thinks I'm not professional because of said errors, you can think what you want. I can assure you that my cover letters, resumes and anything dealing with a potential employer is more than adequate in that regards.
This forums is akin to BSing in the crew room. Unless someone's grammar is so far out there you can't even understand them, just let it go. Please.

Also I find it interesting how much more frequently they will be meeting for negotiating. In my first 3 years here, I think they met, on average, twice a year it seemed. They met last month, got some stuff TA'd and have dates set for July, August and I believe even Sept.

Nice. Something is happening. MP told us there have been lots of meetings, of recent, in ATW with management and the owners. Said meetings have ended with happy faces.

Can someone from AW give me an idea of when an RJ 200 becomes weight restricted? I normally commute on FedEx out of MEM to PHL, but time will not allow me to make it in time tomorrow and I'm going to plan for the 200 flight to,or row afternoon. I've come home quite a few times and the other day the flight was restricted to 33 or 36 seats and made me think that I need to figure this out so I don't cut my commute to close!!!

If it was restricted to that many seats, then they probably needed an alternate. It requires a lot of gas as it is from MEM to PHL and if your alternate isn't very close there goes even more.

It's extremely rare to ever have a flight be weight restricted due to exceeding max gross TO weight. What usually happens is, you will be overweight by the time you get to your destination. There are ways around it. I've had jumpseaters and we were overweight (not for TO) and we just set the taxi burn to 500 and taxied with both engines. AWAC crews are good people. I would be shocked if you had any issues jumpseating on us to PHL.

Our dispatch has told us that if people can list no later than 2 hours prior to departure, they can plan proper fuel loads so people won't get bumped off due to weight restriction. The only time I was ever denied a seat or jumpseat was when they were overfueled by 1200 lbs and was told it was going to be an hour before a fueler can come and defuel.

Max flight plan takeoff weight is the one that is restrictive at times because it looks to make sure that your burnoff fuel is enough to get you below max landing weight at destination.
We can always increase taxi fuel and then two engine taxi, sit in the hold pad for a few minutes, etc. since it's not a safety of flight issue.
We always do what ever can be safely and legally done to help a guy/gal get somewhere.
