We are used to flying vintage relics of aviation history around at PDT. It's all good, well until it catches fire that is. That's way too much work to be doing and I'm not in the mood.

I'm sure this is a naive question, but they now do interviews at 850 TT and would make offers for up to 6 months out:
In the event your Hours are not at the minimum, you will be provided a projected date of hire upon a successful interview. Projected Offer start dates are valid for a maximum 6month term.
How does this work? Are you still supposed to get to 1,500 within 6 mo. on your own? Do you start indoc or training meanwhile??

I would guess you have to have to be at ATP Mins by the end of that 6 months or first day of Indoc (whichever comes sooner).

Our MEC sent us each a luggage tag with "Sunset or Sunrise?" on it. That's our new information campaign towards the company, trying to get them to reveal any plans for the future.

It's a subtle way to say fu to the company, but thats about it.

The six amigos and their accountants hold all the cards. Plan for the worst sunset, hope for the best sunrise.

You would be foolish to not have your resume/logbook updated, applications out and prepared to find a new job if early 2018 is indeed a sunset for us.

That's good. Is there anything stopping them from leaving after they get done with the CPT/ATP course though? I thought we didn't have them sign any kind of contract. Maybe that has changed now.
