So, being that they own their planes and that there are pilots to fly them its hard to say that they will disappear come 2018 when their contract is up? Right?
I mean, now that pilots have become more valuable that taken together with airplanes = some business beyond 2018 I would think. Why would any airline just let that value go?

401-404 (4), 436-471 (36), for a total of 40 registered to the company according to the FAA's database. 405, 406, 407, 409 and 410 are owned by Southshore Aircraft, same address as AWAC.
408, 411-420 (10), 422-435 (14) for a total of 25, titled to US Bank NA.
421 titled to Bank of America.
Useless trivia: the first three airplanes painted in US Airways colors - the blue tops (406, 407 and 410) because Airways didn't want us to have a plane in new colors before mainline did - were at the time owned by United Airlines.
