That being said I say hang in there AWAC. Yes it's bad, you're a great pilot group that's riding a wave of the times and right now it's damn low for many contract carriers.
Piedmont was there also. Had one of the best contracts and had about 100 planes when we merged with ALG. Then we got beat down from about 100 aircraft to under 40. Like someone said it's hard when the gun is at your head and you got bills to pay and a family to support.
Right now management is probably trying to run off all the senior folks to cut cost. Right now you'll see planes going away. Bottom line is you'll take a beating but I think you'll come out of it.
Not sure how many of you feel, but maybe being bought by AA isn't too bad of a bad thing.
Good Luck!
This is how you talk a lot without actually saying anything.

Is it really? Going out of business is death. Continue to fly and get PIC time is life. Nobody says you have to go to American does it? Get your PIC time and get out of the regionals.

I could easily go back and find quotes. What was said was said. Maybe you should spend less time bashing PSA. Just a thought.

I think it's 2018. Piedmont should have about 30-40 ERJ's by then and getting ready to trans into the 175's or merged. Parkers goal is to keep the flying and slowly take over PHL.

Talking with one PSA pilot about current industry practices is not "bashing PSA". Otherwise I could say you are bashing AWAC... You are entertaining, but troll harder

On the regional side maybe but mainline is losing lines in PHL unfortunately. We're down at least 60 pilots from last year on the 320 side. According to the CP PHL is being "right sized" due to a lack of originators.
