If you are willing to take it up the rear or blow the front door for PIC time then that's your business. Get that mentality out of the ZW threads. Next time you take a plane from your G7 buddies, ask them if they got a call right away after getting their 1000 hours PIC, oh wait, you could have done so while flying as an FO at ZW. Your rationale is based on rainbows and sunshine not numbers and careful studies of the market. I wish you the best and all that matters is that you are happy.

I love it when self proclaimed experts come on here spitting their gospel and seem to know more then everyone else. Where were you all when I decided to leave Pinnacle before it imploded? Oh damn...I should have stuck it out and kept a wait and see attitude and I would be riding to top of the wave there. I wouldn't recommend any Wisconsin pilot move sideways until the fat lady sings
If you are at GoJet and proud then I salute you. You have no idea what people think of you when they see your badge. You don't want to know. Ignorance is bliss! If you want to ruin your day and be in the know, ask a TSA pilot.

Actually, they have 5 new CRJ900's flying on the Delta side and are now working on getting 10 more....... They just fired the old Comair DO last year and things are now significantly better with the newly signed contract..... I'm not sure about the "ratty" comment but some of those ZW birds are a bit beyond ratty..... Why would any F/O with the time stick around and hope to upgrade in a couple years and maybe 'win' an iPad if they pick up open time? Go to G7 and get PIC time immediately and make way more money and buy your whole family iPads with the the money you will make picking up open time at 300%...... No brainer.....
The only reason direction that G7 flying for DL is going, is in a shrinking direction. In any case, jumping ship from Air Wisconsin to a carrier that's about to ride the Titanic down, would be a bad move, IMO.

Is AWAC a sinking ship? Looks that way, but never for a second would I steer someone to someone like G7 on the sole basis of the 1000hrs pic. Thats a carrot that is dangerous to chase. Heck, there are tons of us here with +1000 hrs pic with no calls from the majors. At least QOL and pay is good in the time being.
I cant blame anyone for making a lateral move if that is what is right for them. If it suits you, go for it. Now if you want to recruit, there are proper channels to do that. Get a hold of your HR department.

Haha, getting more, when Delta is maxed out on 76 seat flying. You're crazy, if you think that Delta is going to give flying to the worst performing regional they have. When they've advised their own pilots to avoid commuting on G7, you know there is a problem.

That's what I have said until about a month ago. Their performance sucks. I've only had one deadhead on them that was on time, and twice they were so late my morning flight had to be delayed for rest. Also, it's no secret that Delta told their own employees to avoid commuting on GoJet. That memo was right on DeltaNet. What I don't understand is twice now Delta has threatened to take away that flying, and then relented both times. I don't get it. Either they suck or they don't. Why do they keep on playing around with them? If I've learned one thing in regards to Delta it's that they are unpredictable when it comes to their contract feed.

Because things don't just happen overnight. It takes time to figure out where you could put the airplanes and takes time to figure out who can staff them. I have no doubt that they will keep their DL 900 flying, because G7 owns the planes. Beyond that, no idea what's going to happen by the end of 2016.
