I don't believe it has to be processed in Appleton anymore for non rev listing or JS on AA. I could be wrong but based on the announcement from 10/14 I don't think that is the case anymore.
Under all the Q and A with the IDtravel, it has to go to Appleton first and get processed and that takes a few days? I'm figuring this out while trying to fly somewhere tomorrow of all things. Just gonna js on United. This is such a joke.biggest kicker is you can't even check in online, have to do it at the airport presumed with the gate agent themselves and not on the easy check in thing because at this point, why not make it that much harder. End rant

Use this link here - https://wings.usairways.com/uswings/...ravel_new_home
Login with your old Wings Username and Password. Fill in your name and where your going etc etc. Then when you select the flight you select it as a pilot commuting. It will list you for the flight, give you a confirmation number and your set.
Now here is the problem I have found though. While it has listed you for the flight you still need to check in. The problem is, unlike at Airways, you can't really check yourself in. I go to the Kiosk at the airport and I type in the confirmation number given, but it always says I need to see someone at the desk.
When you get to the gate let them know you have listed for the flight, but cant check in. They should then be able to find you and do it for you and bring your name onto the standby list or, if its full, issue you a jumpseat up front.
From what I gather the 3-5 days ahead of time is if my mom or dad want to non rev. My dad uses it a lot so I told him to give me a weeks notice and the flights and I will take care of it.
Its definitely a pain in the ass, but you don't have to wait to jumpseat on AA you just have to make certain you have listed on that website and that the gate agent has enough time to help you check in.
I agree with you though, I freaking love United and Delta for jumpseating. Honestly it really ****es me off that every CASS participating carrier does not follow the same methods. AA/JB have to list online, SW you have to spend time on the stupid phone, UA/DL come on up to the gate.
This process has to be standardized. Ugh.

Just wondering what the overall feelings are at Air Wisconsin?
Are you guys happy there and do you believe there will be future growth?
Just got the invite to interview and wondering what sets you guys apart from the rest?
I understand you have an overall great contract but your flying that is contracted is coming up within a couple years for renewal if I'm right?
Any input will help

Management is well aware that the uncertainty is what scares people away. I'm sure they'll find a way.
