Yes, two classes a month. One should be able to get the base of their choice outs training.

Typically a line holder works four days a week and has three off, trips are built so one would expect four legs a day. Trips are built that are commuter friendly and for those who live at base and want to show early on the first day and end before 1300 on the last day to beat rush hour traffic. Remember, all of these are options but they're all based on seniority.
ALL open time is paid at 150%, cancellation, deadhead, ferry and repo pay is all paid at 100%. pay is block or better paid on a leg by leg basis. Duty rig is 2:1 and trip rig of 4:1.
As for drops and swaps it really depends on staffing levels. Currently AWAC is staffed appropriately unlike other regionals.

There aren't really that many trips that are super commuter friendly in my opinion. You'll get one end but few that are both end. As reserve they will screw you on both ends.

Pairings and days off change all the time, month to month. Ive had everything from 19 days off to only 12 days off. Ive had months of total commutable and months of total suck, starting early and ending late. Changes all the time. Obviously seniority helps

Pickup what? A trip? No I was flying and they extended me into an overnight into days off...which is why I said junior manned into my days off. I also wasn't looking for your pity.

It is an absolute miracle to ever get anything dropped. I've had one turned dropped in two years.

It's the same old "maintain RSV coverage" BS over and over over again. This despite showing 20+ FO reserves and 2 open time trips showing for the next day.

Reserve sucks here big time. If they used reserves for what they should be used for, the operation wouldn't be too bad. However, they basically use reserves as line holders and don't show everything available in open time for everyone else to try and pick up/swap. They will deny this, but it absolutely happens.
