Default DEC

With the shift to AA, how are things for coming onboard as a DEC? What is likely the junior base? How long would it take to hold MKE as a DEC? How many hours a month are DECs getting? I have been out of aviation for a couple years, and a former ZW Captain. Living in MKE, ZW is an appealing option and has a lot of great people. It appears that the DEC bonus also is no contract this time around? Any information is appreciated. Thank you!

Spoke to a friend in the training department. Was told you could probably hold MKE. AW is short CAs so I’d expect a lot of flying. He said he had one former CA return and went right back in the left seat and had no issues going through training.
