Half a month on either side, you get 6 months. Or more. Thought I wasn’t prepared?

Very similar to covid-19 ironically.

Except no. It is April and we are still in it. We have no idea what the seasons will do to COVID. I hope it goes away, that would be swell, but we don’t know.

It was a risk assessment comparison and I'm actually really concerned you missed the point.

It's more concerning you think it's remotely the same as an ILS. Medical experts have said it's possible to be seasonal like the flu. What will you all do if this is the new normal I wonder.

You'll have to wait a month or two when the projections show it reaching 60k deaths over a very similar time period as seasonal flu.

Sigh...my friend my friend my friend why can you not see? The only reason it is not worse by a bigger margin is:

we have locked down the economy. People are in their homes way more than usual. Way way way more.

It would be worse if we didn’t do that. If we have done that for the flu, it wouldn’t have been 80k deaths would it? No.

Listen to expert advice and follow it, because they probably know better than someone with little to no formal schooling in biology, who doesn't even know what an RNA strand is, making it up on the fly based on hunches and gut feelings and fuzzy emotions.

I do, which is why my part of the country is opening up first. You don't follow along very well.

Should we talk about Sweden?

A) there isn't enough evidence to definitely say if it's seasonal or not. It's been around 4 months. Maybe 5. Other coronaviruses are seasonal, so it's possible, but why does it mattter?

B) It's not the flu. Quit trying to make it the flu.
