You can no more fix what is ultimately a scheduling problem with a “gung ho” attitude than you can change out a blown out engine.
Relax. (But, you know. Keep your resume updated). Shine your shoes. Press your shirt. Pick up a greenslip if you feel like it. Pass out trading cards (limited edition currently available)

(I love this company. It breaks my heart when this stuff happens. One man might be able to make a difference in IROPS like this, but it’s not an ACARS typing line pilot)
