Any one have any details of the share housing? I'm debating whether to just bring my RV up there and live in that during my training. It will be about $100 more a month so wanted to know if it was worth it having "my own place". Is it shared rooms, internet, cable, etc? Thanks.
Shared housing can potentially be up to six individuals to a three bedroom apartment (two to a bedroom). From what I hear cable and internet are good and the apartments are fully furnished. There is also living space at Mariana municipal that is more like "open bay" living. There are advantages and disadvantages to both of the locations. Having said that there are people that chose to make different arrangements. One individual lived in his travel trailer on NAS Pensacola, there are also two extended stay hotels in the area, bed and breakfast...etc. Is having your own place worth it? That is completely up to you, and the type of person you are, how you study, how much privacy you need/ want, and your budget.
