Next time you hear an IL-76 crew request the full runway length for takeoff, they mean it!

Those guys are called "Crazy Ivan" throughout Afghanistan because according to multiple airfield managers and ATC they don't get paid unless they land, so if you really need to make it in some where and don't mind risking your life hitch a ride on an IL-76.

I like the "Vodka Burner" nickname.
