Default FO Pay

It seems as if the only pay rates ever discussed are twelve year captain rates. Is that because FO TA rates would be a percentage of captain rates? Considering the UPS TA FO rate is over $170/hr for year two, that seems like quite a jump for most Delta FO's... Should us FO's hope for rates commensurate with that out of a potential new TA? With aircraft size factored in of course...

I believe year 2 fo rates at UPS are $180+/hr.

Hope is not a strategy. Write to all your reps and tell them you expect pay to be UPS+1 for 757 and larger...in fact, I'd recommend UPS+1 in all areas of the contract.

$148.80 currently for year 2 FOs, $170.66 effective 9/1/16 should the TA be ratified on 31 August.

Something like a quarter of the pilot force won't be above 5 year FO pay by the time this contract becomes amendable. That's a heck of a lot less pay to offset work rule concessions, so if the new folks are paying attention, a contract is going to have to be very industry-leading to be ratified.

New guys and gals: This! ^^^ A contract with pay raises paid for with QOL concessions will affect you much more than the older bucks who just "want to get paid." Pay attention and read the fine print carefully.

Every pilot at UPS makes this amount. It is not just top of scale for the largest aircraft.

Next year a 10 year FO will make $200+

Why? Don't you want a 2nd year 717 F/O to make $170/hr like a 2nd year UPS F/O does?
