I am a pilot trying to get into corporate aviation and saw the NBAA conference is coming up in florida next week. Is it worth it to go out there and try to start making my connections there?

It certainly won't hurt your pursuit.

See you there.

Even if you don't get a job its alot of fun. Lots new techonology and airplanes to check out. And the tons of free swag doesn't hurt either.

Definitely go. I wouldn't expect a job offer but it has happened before and could happen again. You'll have a great time either way.

It costs $250 for non members and 150 for members. That is a lot of money for most on this board.

There's gonna be a get-together of members at *************.com - "Pilots helping Pilots" at the Orlando Ale House in Semoran on Monday night before the conference begins; if you're around it may be a good way to start your networking casually around some food & beer.

My department (all two of us) had planned on going...but unfortunately a trip came up to fly Tues-Thurs so duty calls and I'll have to (hopefully) wait until next year.
