I stumbled across an airliners show in LAX and there was model of a 787 in the old lightning bolt scheme. That would be a sharp heritage scheme, but I guess not so much without the polished fuselage.

I agree, it's starting to grow on me but I still think the body color won't weather well. IMO after about 6-7 years it will look dirty and rusty much like the old UA paint scheme did. Hope I'm wrong but after 5 years working as a sales rep for Sherwin-Williams you could say I'm familiar with all types of paint.
